Acne is perhaps the worst thing to happen to a teenager or anybody. Teenagers, especially, will have adverse reactions to this development. Often times, people that develop acne can suffer from various problems. Many can feel a lack of self-confidence and may be too humiliated to go into public settings. You may experience a great deal of pain if you have severe acne on your face. If you have an extreme case of acne, more than likely it will be way beneath your skin. When that happens, the surrounding nerves can cause extreme pain if the area is touched or pressure applied. The common reaction is to squeeze the pimple in the attempt to get rid of it faster. In actuality, that is the worst thing that anyone can do because it can make it worse and lead to scarring.
If you have very bad acne, it will be inflamed beneath your skin which may be very agonizing. Why acne occurs is actually well known and can even be caused because of individual cell growth. If your skin structure, for instance, begins to change, a skin lesion will actually reform. When this happens, usually the surrounding hair follicle and the oil gland are also affected. Often times, people that have severe acne have a genetic predisposition to getting it. Once the hair follicle and oil glands have been impaired, bacteria may begin to multiply. A dermatologist is always a great place to go if you or other family members have severe acne.
Most people are aware that their particular type of acne may be different from someone else’s. Some of the more common symptoms or appearances are whiteheads and blackheads which are known as comedones. People that have pimples can have two different types including pustules and papules which are much smaller. If your skin is extremely scaly, or if it is red in certain areas, you may be suffering from acne as well. If you ever contract cystic acne, it can actually start on your face with deep pits which are unsightly. And, of course, you can also get very large papules which look very similar to nodules on your face.
There are several types of acne and, as a result, the scarring can also take many forms. One very common type of scar is the rolling scar, and after we describe it you may recognize it. The rolling scar is that type that makes the skin look like it has bumps in it and almost wavy type of texture. One other very classic type of scar is the ice pick scar. I probably don’t have to explain what ice pick scars look like, as it’s easy to figure out from the name. The surface of your skin becomes pitted with these very deep scars. These holes are small and they go deep into the skin. So far, you have discovered a few things concerning how to get rid of acne fast at home along with the significance it has for you. What we like to do is be as neutral as possible because it is more important for you to consider each part on its own merit. Of course you have to be the one to decide since it is your life, and it will impact others around you. There is no doubt that you need to view this from as many sides as you can. While you may be challenged trying to achieve that, it is all right as long as you learn more and increase your knowledge. We all have the same amount of time each day, but we think what normally occurs is people learn to focus. As you can see, acne is not the simple situation you may have thought it was. But in order to treat it, you must have at least a general idea of what is causing it before any treatment can be successful.
