Although there are thousands who suffer with alzheimers disease, there are available treatments for alzheimers. We still need to do a lot of work in order to discover how and why this disease attacks the way that it does. To keep doing this research takes money. There are plenty charities out there which you could donate to if you wish. You could take a look in your local yellow pages or there are plenty of places where you can find information online. Without doing all the research for this disease the day will never come when they find a cure for this degenerating disease.

I think until you are dealing with someone close to you that has been diagnosed with alzheimers you don’t really know how horrific and heartbreaking this disease can be. just to watch your loved one slowly lose all of their faculties and while watching this, knowing that it is going to kill them, is a dreadful thing to go through. Research in alzheimers costs money and only when one has incounted alzheimers, will a person realise the importance of finding better treatments for alzheimers.
